Trica returned Suzaro's soft smile and glanced at his paw over hers, a kind gesture that gave her heart a small ft flutter. She looked back into his eyes, gold meeting silver as they looked at each other, each trying to figure out what the other was thinking. Trica knew that Suzaro was still thinking of his nightmare, she had a bad feeling that he was degrading himself, she didn't know why she sensed that but she just did. Her eyes drifted to the floor as Suzaro moved back to the old mattress and laid back down, resting his large head on his front paws, looking at her as Trica sat on the ground by the bed and looked into his golden optics.
