He had searched; high, low, in between, and at all points of the compass and between? She had vanished, just like before? He?d come back, in time to hear Sorens voice call out. So, silently, he had answered it, and hung beyond their sight, listening quietly. His two own children, and Soren. Arian was there as well, Sarka at her feet. He knew he should have approached his children long before it had come to this; their mother gone, and him only a vague memory in their minds, most likely. Invariably, he was a coward, and had held back, watching over them from a distance. Always afraid of their anger and rejection.

He stepped forward, paws silent on the ground beneath him. He would give them their choice. And he wouldn?t get in their way if they wanted nothing to do with him. It was up to them. However much he wanted to take them with him to the relative safety of Eranis group in the Willows, it was down to what they wanted. His moss colored eyes fell on Soren, then traveled to Sarka, and then to Raziel, before turning to Arian. It was too late to run. So he lowered himself to the ground, on a level with the children before him. He let them take stock of him; perhaps his scent might trigger a memory. Then he spoke, low voice held steady. ?I am Sarak. I am your father.? His eyes dropped to his paws. ?I am so sorry you never knew me, little ones. I should have been there from the beginning.?
