They sold the cause for the queen
And when the lights all went out
She had found a place where she felt most connected to her ancestors and the Great Goddess. It was along the edge of the falls located in a forest of cedar trees. It was so peaceful that she liked to sit along the cool water and think. The Oracle?s fur of pure white was dry with the exception of her paws being wet in the water. She would close her eyes, focusing on the peaceful scene around her in the hopes of connecting with the Goddess today. She saw flashes of light and heard noises but everything was starting to jumble within her head. Her small form barely cast a shadow on the large falls.
Her eyes flashed open and her head started to ache. She winced slightly at the confusion that she had just been put through. She stood up, looking around as she decided to sit in the water of the falls on the edge. She figured that it might help her figure out what everything meant. Perhaps the howling was referring to the wolves that were constantly calling one another to arms across the water. Was it a warning? Were the wolves calling for them? No. Plenty of wolves from her own tribe howled so perhaps it was a warning from the inside or an omen. Oh why did she have to see everything as a dreary event? No, it could be a random dream. Right? Even Oracles had normal dreams. Not every dream she had was from the Great Goddess.
Oh, but what if this one was? Perhaps she should talk to one of the Elders about it. Perhaps they could help her interpret what had been said and if it was anything at all. Sometimes her responsibilities really got to her mind.
