I Was Not Far From My New Companion. I Had Chosen To Separate Only Briefly For The Sake Of Finding Food, Or Perhaps Shelter For Us. Would It Not Have Been Better To Separate For A Short Time To Cover More Ground? The Snow Fell Lightly Upon Me, My Coat Rippling With The Dancing Delicate Flakes As I Searched. I Could Hear Water Close By, The Scent Of Biull Upon The Wind. And That Was Enough For Me. He Kept My Usual Skittish Nature Calm, And I Found His Companionship To Be One Of A Kind. After All, Why Remain On The Path Alone When It Can Be Shared With Others Like Me? I Am The Last Of My Tribe, And That Alone Left A Hole So Deep...I Am Afraid It Might Never Fill. But...The Friendship That I Have Been Shown By This Male, The Way I Trusted Him So Easily Despite Hardly Knowing Anything About Him...Made Me Wonder.

My Large Paws Swept Across The Snow, I Was Unsuccessful In My Hunt. I Hope I Didn't Disappoint Him...As I Drew Closer, I Could See His Body Through The Trees, My Heart Lifting And Excitement Growing The Closer I Got. I Found Myself Smiling Easily, The Sight Of Him Warming My Belly. At Last, I Drew Towards Him. My Back End Wiggling Slightly As My Bobbed Tail Wagged In Vain. "Hello, Biull!" I Greeted. I Was Unsure As To Whether I Should Make Contact, We Had Just Met After All. I Wasn't Sure If He'd Be Uncomfortable With That, So Instead I Settled For The Closeness That Sat Between Us.

It Was Then, That In My Excitement I Had Failed To Notice The Other One That Was Here. And As Soon As I Noticed, My Entire Demeanor Stopped. I Suddenly Became Shy, My Body Subconsciously Sidling Towards Biull As I Pressed Against Him For Comfort, My Head Lowered And My Body Went Slack. Whether She Was A Threat Or Not, She Was New And I Had Yet To Possess The Confidence I So Desired. I Lowered My Eyes, Once In A While Peering Across At The Stranger. Biull Was The Only One I Knew, So Being In The Presence Of A New Stranger Was A Bit..Daunting.
