Things here were quite, much to her liking. Nothing was rushed, no one pushed her, no one tried to get all up in her face with questions. She did not want to tell of her past, it was not an evil one, but it was sad, painful, things she wished she could forget about sometimes. Orchid was kind and she was learning well enough from the older female, but the light brown girl refused to see her anymore than a teacher. It was best this way. And though Orchid offered her den, Rohini always slept right outside the den, no matter the weather. She felt more at ease out in the open, beneath all the stars. Alone in the dark with nothing but her own thoughts. This place was nice enough but she could not help but ask, for how long?
She spent her free time by the river, hunting and gathering herbs. Always bring back a share for Orchid, whether it be food, feathers or herbs. Today she would just simply wonder around, her mind troubled as always, brilliant green orbs clouded. She felt like she no longer knew herself, didn't see her path in life anymore, felt hopeless and lost. Could she dig her way out of this or would she rot here in her own turmoil? When she looked upon her own reflection she didn't know the wolf looking back at her anymore. It angered her, making her lash out at trees, throw her boy at them, leaving bruises and cuts. But her own troubles would be put on hold as Orchid's call rang out. Head lifted to look behind her as a sigh left her lips.
So she would be meeting more wolves today more than likely. She would need to lock away these emotions, close in up tight within herself. It was easy enough, she had been doing it since she came to Ala at the very beginning. Shaking her body out she turned to head towards the meeting. But her paws were slow, hesitant with the pending knowledge there would be new faces. She did not care to meet more than one of two wolves at a time. It unnerved her, made her skittish. You just couldn't trust any one these days, ever. By the time she made it to the clearing only three others were there. Orchid, Crucifix and some unknown female. She paused to watch for a moment before coming silently up behind Orchid. She made sure to keep the stranger the farthest from her. Her posture was poor, head lowered, tail tucked, and body seeming to curl in on itself. She would pause a foot away from Orchid, offering Crucifix a tiny nod of greeting before easing herself to the ground warily.
She could not help her suspicious nature, her inability to trust someone, to allow herself to grow close to anyone. Save for the red woman Vi. Vi was the only one she felt to could relate to. Both of them were quite, slightly loners, and unwilling to give their trust over too easily. And yet upon meeting Vi, Rohini had tried to help her with her wounded leg, to at least provide a method of comfort to the other. Pain was something Rohini could not stand to watch someone battle. Blinking her eyes a few times she would cast flickering glances between the three others before returning her gaze back to her front paws. How different would this be compared to Seracia?
