Her condition had earned her a lifted brow and a small smile. She almost died of shock when he actually chuckled. He would request to know exactly what mood he needed to be in to remain in her company. She would smile, her own laughter threatening to slip past her lips. "You can just like this." She liked this side of him, it reminded her of their childhood and the days they had spent together so carefree and happy. But now days, a huge wedge had opened up between them that was filled with absolutely nothing. Perhaps with time that would all change and things would go back to almost normal. Or maybe they could simply start fresh, relearn each others likes and dislikes, their habits, and everything that friends tend to know about each other. Her gaze would abandoned the tide pools in fave of his, lavender colliding with aqua. Would things ever be mended between them? She tried to keep the questions out of her eyes as she peered up at him, waiting for answers. "ọrọ" |
