Too Little Too Late

The girl had wandered far from home, well far enough away. She was almost a year now, just had to get through Autumn before it was her first season. But she didn't care. She was alone, and a little bit scared. Nothing here was familiar, everything smelled strange and even the air around her seemed different. A whine left the tall girl, she was starting to grow into those long, lanky legs. She was just shy of her full height, already just about 38 inches tall. Her once too big paws were now a fitting proportion, but she was still clumsy. She was like a wolf on silts, but thankfully her elongated tail was there to help her. It flowed behind her like a banner, helping her stay on her paws until she was used to being so high above everything.
A shuttering sigh left her lips as she paused, large purple eyes searching the expansion of land that stretched before her. The once green grass was starting to brown, the smell of rotting leaves powerful. It was hard for the young one to pick out anything beyond that, which made her even more fearful. She longed for her brother, he always had a calm and level head, and would know what to do. But she had left without looking back. Her parents just kept bringing new children home, and she felt as if she wasn't good enough of them. Why else would they bring home countless children? She was a shame to them, and she knew it. They just never told her, but she wasn't stupid! No, she knew that she wasn't needed there. It was time for her to carve her own path.
Mercy likes to swear and bite, and she can be unpredictable. She's not always nice, and is quick to jump into a fight. Thread at your own risk.
Mercy has a visible scar from her shoulders down to the middle of her back, in a v like shape. Not all of her art shows this.
