Lay Until the Break of Day

Huata was new to this land. She had never come upon it, until now. Topaz optics focused on the ground as she sniffed around for anything that she needed to be aware of. The sounds of birds and the scent of another wolf caught her off guard as she walked. Leaves crunched underneath her paws as she came upon some large oak trees that seemed to pristine and full of age. The cr?me and orange dame sat across the tree and gave a small smile. Due to this being a new land, there was bound to be some new wolves that she could meet, or perhaps try to understand due to her overhearing some wolves saying that there were new natives around here that spoke a different tongue than she. The thought caused her to hope that she didn't come upon one, or that one did not try to hurt or kill her for she had never really had any battle experience at all.
Topaz optics shot up to the sky as the sound of some birds rung in her lobes, causing them to flick to different sides. Someone was either around her, or the birds just loved to hear their voices echo throughout the sky. She shook her head and focused in on the trees.
