The feel of her under his touch set him on fire. The ache inside him grew, threatening to overwhelm him. He was desperate to be closer, to hold her against him and feel complete. He longed to feel whole, to feel like a complete being. When he was alone he was empty, a shell of passions and hopes that did little to less the pain radiating for his very soul. Valentine just wanted to be loved. Her purred response sent his heart racing. His heartbeat pounded in his ears, sending exhilaration roaring through his veins like lightning. Her tongue brushed down his cheek in a kiss and the brute's lips lifted in a smirk. He reveled in the feeling, the warmth that sent chills racing down his spine. The feeling drew a soft growl from his throat. In response, the brute moved to draw closer, to press into her chest and use his greater height to reach over her shoulder and nibble from her shoulder blades up.
