She still hadn?t quite settled on an emotion to feel towards Motif?s pregnancy or the decision she?d made about it. She did swear that her sadness would be over, and that emotion would not be allowed to grip hold of her when she thought of the consequences. She would throw herself into concentrating on her sister, being there for her and making sure that she got through this whole. She had to focus on now, because she wasn?t sure what she?d do after. Thankfully her dreams would not be occupied by these thoughts, instead she would be teased with thoughts of who Motif?s children would grow up to be. These were the dreams that were interrupted by her sister?s chuff. Eyes would open as she lifted her head from her paws and looked out to see her littermate at the entrance of her den. A soft smile would adorn her features, but she would wonder what she was doing here now. "Are you alright Motif?" She?d ask as she scooted over and invited her almost twin into her little hole in the ground she called a den. |
