Her sisters voice would slip out again through the darkness, stirring her from the edge of sleep. She was barely awake now as she felt her sister snuggle into her side and all she could feel was comfort and contentment from being near her sister, for being so welcome into the understanding arms of her sibling. She knew Rhy wasn't wholly happy wth her decision, and it was a thought that bugged her so she brushed it aside to enjoy the moment. Her eyelids dropped low again and once more her vision was lost to blackness. She concentrated on the steady breathing of Rhy and the constant gentle heartbeats she could feel through their connected fur. She too would be lost to sleep, but at last she would not dream of the things that haunted her. |
