Victory was in her sights. She could easily deliver a dead blow, even as her jaws gripped his snout. But a booming force would drag her attention from the boy trapped in her grip. Her coral gaze would snap to her mate, eyes narrowing even further. A growl vibrated in her throat, her body quivering as she silently conveyed that he needed to mind his own fucking business. Her jaws flexed as she felt the boy go limp, submitting to her without hesitation. Begrudgingly she would release him, his blood tainting her fangs. Saliva dripped from her lips, her rage still pulsing. "Stay if you wish." Her voice snapped like a whip as she shot daggers at him before pivoting away from both men. Blood trickled from her wounds, her movements were stiff with the bruise across her chest. She didn't want to see this boy any longer, she wanted to be alone. Her defenses remained tightly locked in place, rage oozed from her as emotions were savagely unburied. She felt as though she was going to explode, and there was nothing she could do about it.
