Curiosity drew the brute in like a moth to a flame. The smell of Maija's child was heavy in the air. His gait easy and unhurried, Valentine followed the delicate scent to its source. He kept his distance, choosing to eye the pair and make his presence known before encroaching on their space. Honestly he wasn't sure what to make of the tiny babe or her father. That her father wasn't his father didn't sit well with him, but he could hardly blame the fae for taking another mate. Taurig, in his flighty existence, was hardly worthy of the title. Still, the glaucous brute was hesitant to meet Arc's youngest member.

He watched the duo interact for a moment before announcing his presence. "She's precious, Maija." That much he could admit.
