You Let My Heart Escape

She did not remember the last snow season, as she was only living as a pup during that time. She had taken a liking to the strong summer's heat, unaware of the gradual colder change. All she remembered about the winter season was coldness, ice and little food to eat. The next season would be a challenge for the huntress, having to work twice as hard to supply herself and others with prey. She didn't take a particular interest in challenges, but her own loyalty to the tribe was important. More important than her usual comforts. A chilly breeze whiffed through her brown fur. She fluffed out the short pelt she had. How would the falls look during the snow season? In spring and summer the falls were always bright, lush with plenty of sunlight to go around. Would the landscape soon turn silent with white and grey? With the thought of white on her mind, her matching hazel eyes spotted a stunning white creature seated before the waterfall. The other wolf seemed deeply in a state of relaxation of peace. Would she disturb her? For now, it was best to wait and keep a fair distance away. "Speech" |
