The pup bounded through the forest, laughing away as she chased the butterfly. It was fast! Whenever it would land the pup would jump but just before her paw made contact it would flutter away. With a determined growl she chased after it, tail wagging like mad behind her, unaware of what was going on around her until it was too late. Little one, you should be more observant. A deep voice suddenly spoke, scaring the pup. She turned her mismatched gaze on the path ahead of her, falling upon an adult at the last moment. Bam! The pup slammed right into his leg, bouncing off and landing on her rear. A soft whine escaped her lips as she pushed herself up slowly, shaking dirt out of her fur. I'm sorry mister.
