The female would laugh, but he didn't find it very funny. Love didn't exist, it wasn't something he'd consider. If you lived to pass on your gene's than it was a high probability that the off spring themselves would survive. Migi hadn't gotten close enough to smell her mate, she just stunk of her pack. So he stepped forward with no regard for her personal space and sniffed her. She was correct, she was claimed, and she was not valuable enough to him to be worth fighting for. Specially with a pack backing her up. "I don't need to learn from someone inferior.
