Keiki watched the male, head tilting to her right side and her tongue unfurling to loll out of the side of her mouth. She didn?t know what, if any, move to make. For a moment she thought he might just turn tail and walk away when the boy stood up and approached her. His eyes narrowed. He stopped only a few feet in front of her, fixing her with a questioning gaze. It took her a beat too long to grasp the question he asked and Keiki nodded vigorously, clearly enthused that he knew her father.
??m Keiki Kaname!? She exclaimed, just a slight bit too loudly. ?You?? She wanted to know all about him, maybe she could have a friend too, just like Warja did!
