Bane gave a huff, Nako still sitting next to him. Age wasn't being kind to the elder, and so required that his eldest son remain close by. He worried about the fact that Nako would grow bored or wish to do something else. But the young male simply sat by, the feathers the old wolf had placed in his head twisting and blowing in the fjords breeze as the water trickled on by. Hardly any debris from the wind storm was heading down river anymore.
So when a howl, one on the fleeting edge of his memory called for him to come, Bane turned to look at Nako. Imagining the concern on his son's face and hardening his own as the young wolf took the lead towards the summon. The elder followed, sticking right behind his son as the edged close to the one who had called him. Nako muttered under his breath the forgotten name of the wolf to their front. Lel.
