Kassander continued to claw at the dirt, scooping it back toward the surface and pausing once in a while to kick the dirt out. He was in the process of reaching out with his forepaws for more dirt when a voice suddenly spoke behind him, echoing in the small space. Startled he jerked around only for his head to meet the top of the den rather abruptly. A strangled yelp erupted. A moment later he was able to slither his way out of the mostly-finished cache to stare at the wolf who had spoken. "Andi?" he squeaked incredulously. "Wh-what are you doing here? In Ebony I mean. It's great to see you!" He moved forward to embrace her, but a sudden thought had him withdraw slightly. "Your.. your mom's not here is she?" The last time he'd seen an Olympus wolf it had been to be dragged from Ebony to Olympus and... and he really didn't want to go back. He might not be the best brother to Val but this was their home, not Olympus. She needed him and... he really, really didn't want to go back. |
