She?d keep herself from looking at him, turning up her nose and refusing to even look his direction. His words would bring about a change though, her ears would fall back and she?d come to grovel at his feet, her apology would be wordless and he?d accept it. Looking down with a scowl he?d watch her, this still wasn?t an answer to his question. She?d seemed so brave and confident only a moment ago, it was hard to see her suddenly so ashamed. He didn?t like that she had spit at him and ignored him, but it had been fun to kill the creature together. "I like the way you smashed the pinchy-thing."
