Time for Change

The battle field probably wasn't the best place to meat new wolves but she didn't care. May, however kind in her own way, was not exactly the nicest wolf on the planet. Blue eyes scanned the area for other wolves as a week gust of wind brought the scent of blood to her nose, moved her fur slightly and caused the gems on her necklace to chime gently.
A small smile crossed the woman's maw as she glanced down at the golden jewelery from winch seven sapphire colored crystals hung. The center crystal was the largest and shaped like a star. She knew what was to be done with the necklace, it was to be a gift to her first born daughter, but a mate had to come first.
Smoothly the lass walked across the field. Fighting wasn't on her mind but if one broke out she would be more than happy to watch.
