How long had he been here? How long had it been since he had seen his family, seen his sisters or mothers or anyone aside from Gaia or her family. He didn't really know, he didn't remember. He wasn't yet sure if that was a good or bad thing, he didn't really miss them, didn't really think about them much. With everything that had happened he rarely had time to think about them, his whole world revolving around Gaia and trying to make sure she was happy and comfortable in her home. Yes all their plans had come to a screeching halt when they had been forced to join Yfir but Solo didn't mind. It was kind of nice to be in a pack that wasn't all made up of Gaia's family. In all honesty he had felt kind of uncomfortable around her aunts and uncles and cousins. All of Olympus had been her family and though Solo had come to grow more comfortable with her siblings it had really only been since they had moved. And now he was able to get to know her other siblings! Though it had been a rather confusing for him to learn that Gaia had two mothers that lived apart and had split up their children. Parents didn?t do that? Did they?

He was without Gaia for the first time in what felt like forever and honestly it felt like he was missing a limb. He missed her scent, her voice, her constant presence in his life and though they would probably only be apart a few hours it felt weird? He had let her stay at the pack meeting a bit to reconnect with her other siblings and had slunk away to firefly lake. He had walked the banks of this lake a great many times, knew almost every crack and crevice of Ebony?s lands? He wanted out, wanted to keep good on all his promises that he had given Gaia when they had first met, he wanted to be her prince! Wanted to take her places to slay dragons and other adventures! But reality was a crushing thing when it came to dreams. So he would sit quietly at the edge of the lake, looking at the mostly iced over surface in quiet contemplation. How could he do everything?

Her howl would rock him like an earthquake and immediately eyes would snap wide though he would remain motionless. Could it be? Head would lift slowly and swivel, turning to look towards the sound. Fiamette? How long had it been? Everything crashed down around him all at once, her howl sounded so formal, like an acquaintance calling another they had met only once. Her voice did not carry a familiar tone but either way it would pull him from his paws and he would set off towards the sound. He would arrive promptly to find her standing at the boarder, a slow smile beginning to creep across his features only to be wiped away as soon as he saw the creature at her side. He would halt quite a distance away, wild eyes staring at the creature beside her. A wolverine? Those things were VICIOUS! ?Fia?? He would call out tentatively, eyes never leaving the creature. Nostrils would flare wide, taking in the thick musty scent as he tried to choose whether he should attack it or flee. ?Just back away from it slowly?? He would offer instead, waiting at his distance to see if she could get away herself or if he would have to intervene.
