The boy was growing considerably with each day, his legs would become stronger, his mind sharper. He was also becoming more curious, he had a thirst for knowledge that was not so easily sated. Still within him also would be the ever present fear of his sire, such would keep him from exploring as much as he would have liked. So his large paws would walk the perimeter set for him, for hours at a time. A scowl visible on his brow as he walked, and sometimes ran, around his territory. The fear would only drive him to further the pride he had in his home, his father was with his pregnant toy, his mother and sister off with.. womanly things. At least that was the guess, they hadn't seemed eager to include him. So he would set to work, patrolling the beach and the forest around the boat they called home. |
