It Looks Like I'm A Queen

Hunting during the snow season was proving to be a challenge for her. Prey was scarce, her fur did not blend in well with the white and many scents had been erased by the snow. Although she had worked hard to catch an underweight hare in the early dawn, she was not going to complain about her faint hunger. Nothing seemed to fulfil her during this season and to take her mind off that subject, an exploration with no set destination seemed to take action. Her paws were frozen and numb after travelling a great distance through the fallen snow. Her short fur fluffed out arrogantly but her body still trembled in the cold. Faint sunlight fell through the breaking clouds as her chocolate eyes spotted a silver structure in her vision. The structure was entwined with tight vines, gently sprinkled with white snow. It looked similar to a cave but whatever it was, she was glad to have come across it. The tribe wolf bounded towards the building, looking for an entrance. The structure was all stone with a wooden entrance that she could not break through. She carefully examined the building once more. Perhaps this structure was sacred or maybe ancient spirits inhabited it and did not want her interfering. She took a few steps back before putting her head to her paws. She wasn't going to leave this mysterious place, after all, she had never been this far away from her main territory. She might was well spend the day here. "Speech" |
