PACK RANKS
QUEEN (1) - The Queen is the primary Alpha. She is to obeyed at all times, and it able to promote/demote, accept, and punish members. She also creates, and changes the law to her liking. |
CHANCELLOR (1) - This wolf is close to the Queen in some way, whether it be her mate, trusted friend, or family member, and stands in to oversee the Betas. Should something happen to the Queen, the pack will fall to him/her if the Dauphin is not of age, otherwise the pack will fall to the Dauphin. |
DAUPHIN (1) - They will be the successor to the throne. Does not necessary have to be the Queens children, but most likely will be a selected child. The Heir is to be respected, though they hold little power within the pack. They will groomed constantly to one day take over the pack. |
GOUVERNEUR (1) - This wolf is the head Beta. They will work closely with both the Officials and the Queen. This wolf will also be in charge of maintaining alliances and keep any allies up to date. They are also permitted to force claim whiles, dish out punishments, accept/deny wolves and promote/demote members. This wolf will also be in charge of overseeing the interrogation of prisoners or those suspected on treason. Should the Queen and Chancellor be unable to lead and the heir is not of age, the Gouverneur will rule the pack until the Dauphin is old enough to take control. |
OFFICIALS (2) - They will be the betas of the pack, with a max of two. They will be able to accept and punish members, and they can only suggest promotions/demotions. The Betas are permitted to force claim wolves and bring them to the pack as they see fit. |
AGRESSEUR (2) - A select few wolves who excel in combat and torture. They will be charge of not only dishing out punishment to slaves, but extracting information from prisoners. These wolves will also be sent out to do the dirty work of the pack, such as carrying out assassinations, or kidnaping key members of enemy packs. These wolves will be hand picked by the Queen and her Chancellor, this rank may not challenged for, but you may battle to be promoted to this rank. |
MARQUIS (2) - Head warrior. In charge of training other warriors. |
COMTE (2) - Head Hunter. In charge of calling pack hunts. |
BARON (2) - Head Healer. In charge of making sure the entire pack is healing and overseeing other healers |
MILITANT (∞) - These wolves will make up part of the body of the pack, they will be the strongest and excel in battle. They will go to war if needed, and they will defend the pack against intruders. There will be an unlimited number of positions, however if you prove to be unworthy or incapable, you will be demoted. |
PRÉDATEUR (5) - These wolves will be capable hunters and will entire that the pack is fed. They will also be trained as fighters to go to war if necessary and protect themselves against any enemy. There will be a maximum of 5 hunters at anytime. If you prove to be incapable then you will be demoted. |
SOIGNEUR (5) - These wolves will make sure the pack remains healthy and they will take care of the sick, elderly and expectant mothers. Healers will also have fight training so that they can defend themselves. These wolves will not go to war, but as they will be key in treating the wounded, they need to be able to defend themselves. Healers are expected to not only know how to heal, but how to kill through the art of poison. There will also be a max of 5 healers at any given time. |
PRINCE/PRINCESS (∞) - These are the children of the alpha pair, under the age of 2. At 2 years of age, they will be expected to choose a rank as with any pack member. They are to be treated with respect, though they hold little power. |
COMMONER (∞) - These are the commoners of the pack, they have no rank and serve little purpose. However, these wolves will learn basic fighting skills to be able to defend themselves. They are often subject to mocking and cruel treatment from other ranking members. |
JUVENILE (∞) - There are the children of the pack, usually under 2 years old at the oldest. At the age of 2, wolves will have to choose whether they are going to be a warrior, hunter or healer. |
SLAVE/CLAIMED (∞) - Prisoners are those who have committed some sort of crime against the pack or the Clandestine and/or Commander. They will only be provided enough to survive but they will not be tortured until their crimes deems it fit. Slaves will be those who are force claimed or are demoted within the pack, they will/can be traded amongst members and even other packs, they will also be forced to fight for their freedom or face death. |
