PACK RANKS
– Patriarch (1) – The highest powers in Pantheon, the Matriarch or Patriarch hold the highest authority in the pack and are not to be questioned. At least one of them must be a member of the Olympus family. They are traditionally a married couple, but this does not have to be the case if the already instated Olympus family member decides otherwise. [Can accept new members] | |

– Prince/Princess (1) – The future successor to the Pantheon throne, this will be a wolf of the family. Traditionally, the Prince or Princess would be selected from the children of the Matriarch and Patriarch. The Prince or Princess will be training to be the next Matriarch or Patriarch. Should the Patriarch or Matriarch fail in their duties the Prince or Princess will take the throne. | |
– Atomist (1) – This is the lead healer and will serve as the chief advisor to the Matriarch and Patriarch. They are traditionally of Olympian blood, but if none of the family are qualified for this position a non-family member may be considered. They are to be highly skilled in the art of healing and shall hold the duty of training and monitoring the Antiatomists. [Can accept new members] | |
– Ephors (2) - The Ephors are essentially the Betas of the pack. They do not have to be a mated pair and can be either family members or non. Their primary purpose will be to evaluate pack laws and policies and revising them as needed. They can also act in a disciplinary manner if necessary, but the ruling pair's word will always hold the final say.[Can accept new members] | |
– Apella (3) - These are respected pack members. They are to handle the day to day needs of the pack and will handle tasks as assigned to them by the Matriarch, Patriarch, or Ephors. They will be responsible for making sure that both the pups and elderly of the pack are cared for and comfortable. These wolves can be Olympus family members or non. | |
– Peltast (1) – This is the lead warrior. They are expected to hold training sessions regularly for the pack and should Pantheon ever go to war they will stand at the front lines with the Patriarch. They can be Olympian or non and will be chosen based on their skills and loyalty to the pack. | |
– Strategos (1) - This is the lead hunter. Their main concern is to be keeping the pack well fed. They will hold a pack hunt at least twice a year: Once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Other hunts are welcomed, but not required. They can be Olympian or non and will be chosen based on their skills and loyalty to the pack. | |
– Antipeltast/Antistrategos/Antiatomist (∞) - The warriors, hunters, and healers, respectively. They are the main populous, and are respected due to their usefulness. All are expected to participate in regular training to prove their worth in their specialties and to hone their skills. Warriors will also be expected to guard any prisoners in Pantheon as part of their duties. | |
– Proxenos (∞) - The Proxenoi are any children under a year of age. Once they have become yearlings they will be assigned a mentor for the specialty of their choosing and once their mentor has deemed them ready they will be promoted into the appropriate rank. | |
- Spartiate (∞) - These are the members of Pantheon who have not chosen their specialty. These might be members that have just joined or perhaps someone who chose a specialty and ended up not being well suited for it. They will be expected to choose a specialty as soon as possible and will help out around the pack however they can until then. | |
– Gerouse (∞) - The Gerousia are the Elders of the pack, pack members who have reached the age of 8. They are exempt from participation in duties, but are highly encouraged to participate when they can. They are to be constantly respected and cared for. Many of these members take to looking after the children of the pack to occupy their time. | |
– Slave (∞) - Slaves may be wolves forced into service or those who volunteer. They are to be treated fairly as long as they serve the wolves they are bound to. | |
– Prisoner (∞) - Prisoners may be taken for numerous reasons, but pack members are held to no standards regarding their treatment or respect. They are to be guarded at all times and force may be used to subdue them if necessary by their guards. |
