The smell of heat drew him out of Imperium. The brute followed his nose, his gait taking on a predatory edge. The scent trail took him into the territory of the fallen empire that had inspired the rise of Imperium, but the history under the trees meant little to him. All that mattered was the fair scent of the rogue babe. It drew him in like a moth to a flame and he was was willing to let himself become consumed by it. When she came into view he paused, nose twitching as he tried to figure her out. He couldn't bring himself to approach, the draw of her was too strong. While curiosity had drawn him in, respect for her person kept him at bay. He knew when his control was frayed and while he liked to think of himself as a beast of reason, the smell of heat was almost enough to push him over the edge. "Speaking" "Thinking" |
