Her words pulled a snort from him. In response he shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. What would she do if he said nothing? Of course, just standing there and saying nothing was no fun. Sooner or later he'd have to do something.

Teasing, he let the silence stretch on for a couple of seconds before finally speaking. "Well," he rumbled, "Talking is a tad more interesting than gawking, so I suppose I'll give that a try." With her scent clouding his senses, there was far more entertaining things on his mind, but he was nothing if not a gentleman. He'd feel her out before committing to any one course of action.
