I just don't get it[REGIUM]

Roman was wary of this other wolf- not out of fear that she wouldn't easily best her in a battle. She was wary because she didn't know what the other wolf wanted. As Arian spoke, she forced her fur to lie flat. Her gaze was critical, but she let the other alpha finish speaking. She took Arian's information into account- the problem was- Roman didn't want alliances. If she had allies- she'd have to jump in to fight for them. She'd much rather just live alone in the North- where no one would bother her. Why couldn't it be that easy?! She let out a sigh, softening her hard expression slightly. "I haven't talked with Athena about the alliances she had before I took the crown. I don't seek to be ill acquainted with you, as you have family here- but I am unsure how I feel about alliances. They seem to be tenuous at best, especially when war is brought into question." She tried to explain her point. Roman was wary of allying with a wolf she didn't know. One who could have enemies she didn't know. She'd then wait- giving Arian a chance to speak again.
