Like nobody else [ABAVEN]

He had been checking the river, seeing if the levels had fallen since the flood. The river was much too fast moving to freeze, but at least the cold had somewhat lowered it. It still ran its course, the one steady thing in Bass' life. So much was going on, with half of Abaven expecting children in the harshest of seasons. Poor things, it wouldn't be an easy start to life. That is when the call rang out, ears pivoting to locate the sound. He didn't know the caller, and they didn't know him from the sounds of it. Letting out a breath, he watched it fog before him, pausing for one more moment. He couldn't put it off any longer though, he needed to go and see who called for him.
Picking his way across the snow, he came to a pause when he saw the lady at his border. Her scent smelled of Isokan, the pack that Quelt used to run. He had told him her name, but for the moment it didn't dawn on him what that was. Huffing he closed the distance, nodding his head to her. "Greetings, I am Bass Destruction. I assume you are here to talk politics?" He asked, swiftly taking a seat before her. Politics were not his forte, he really disliked them. But putting on a happy face, he curled his tail around his flank.
