((OOC. Liquid timing this to after he meets with Kismet, but before Cascade because Lolaf was horrible and forgot to get this thread up earlier.))

Soren watched the water lapping at the shore, out across the roiling waves he could see what would become his new home. Still hesitation tugged at his mind. He had never been an overly social wolf but he wondered if he might miss it, might miss feeling like he mattered? But those thoughts were quickly quashed when he reminded himself that that feeling would always end because everyone would always leave. It didn’t matter how much someone else made him feel important in that instance, they’d always forget and then he’d be left with just another name on his list and more disappointment.

It seemed so easy, seemed like he could really just disappear. Kismet knew where he was going but no one else had to, he could fade into obscurity and the world would never miss him. No one would.

So why was he still standing here?
