She was so slow, he'd feel his tail twitch with impatience as he awaited her movement. Slowly she would rise from the sand, and in his eagerness he'd find his features moving back to her, wondering what was taking so long. His bright eyes would not find her slowly rising form, instead it was her eager embrace taht he'd get caught up in. He had time to rear up, she'd collide with his chest and knock him backwards onto his back, limns flailing wildly in the air as she sprawled him out. He'd land with a 'oof' on the ground, eyes gazing up at her violet stare. "I thought we were going home?" Lian would grumble as he reached up to bite at her cheeks, he wanted to at least pinch her hard enough to show his displeasure, but easy enough that she could tell he was playing.
