Coming home [Aw]

The man would be shocked out of an already panicked mode from yet another nightmare. The call had been that of panic yet Max was slow to rise to his paws, yet he had been moving as quickly as his sleep deprived muscles would allow. His lack of sleep had proven to be his downfall lately as he hadnt left his den in the last two days. In the days before he had bately spoken to another being and had fallen behind on his duties. He didnt know if anyone had needed his expertise and he hadnt even attempted a herb hunt in the last week.
Knowing that his king was also a healer, he could only hope that the boy had been able to respond with more haste than himself. Grabbing his 'emergency bundle', Maximous would take off toward the call as quickly as he could. Silently he would curse himself for failing to be better prepared. If Kassander were to punish him for his lack of work for the last week, the man wouldn't argue with him.
Upon his arrival at the seen, Max was greatful that his king had already arrived. It meant two things, one that Kass had indead been quicker to react than himself and two that the girl on the ground was being cared for. The man would not take over but rather trot to his kings side with a quicck bow of the head and a question. "Kass, is there anything I can do to help?" his voice would be soft as usual but with a hint of the exhaustion that the rest of his body felt.
