Nature Caught In The Wind

Walk | Talk | Think Her ear flicked absently as her brother whispered a reply, allowing her attention to remain fixated above them both. She agreed wholly with Terrae and too thought it was a good sign for the traveling band of siblings. A quiet location meant a safe haven, a place where they could rest and gather themselves before setting off again. With no destination in sight, no desired outcome outright known, it seemed important that they take advantage of these moments of stolen peace to bask in the ability to relax fully for once. She knew better than to think that their travels, if and when they left this place, would be as accommodating or comfortable. With a little quirk, her lips drew up along the left corner into a half smile, glad to be of one mind with the earthy wolf. "It's nice," she replied in the same whispered tone, "soothing almost. You can really relax here." It made her, just a little, wish not to leave. Here she had tall peaks, green forests further down the mountain, and if the momentary quiet was any indicator it was a peaceful place to be. Wide, windy plains were just as enjoyable, but she doubted she would find a location that appeased all of her desires. "I really like the ledges a little further up," she added, managing to drop her voice just a smidgen more as she confessed her secret to her brother, "you can really feel the wind up there." But of course she was going to enjoy a place that boasted a little feel of the element for which she was named. She was sure Locha preferred it down by the beach where they had originally made their crossing from the island. And what of Terrae, she wondered, what does he prefer? Curiously her pale eyes shifted downward and over toward her brother there at her side, a little lean of her head causing her to peer at him as if from one eye rather than both. "Are you comfortable here too?" |
