Returning Home {Roman}

As the woman lumbered up to her, Amalia let out a gasp and jumped to close the distance between them. She had no idea that she was so far along! "Oh my, I am so sorry Miss! I should have come to you, I wasn't aware the babies were so big now!" she said, little stub of a tail wagging behind her in greeting. Since there was so little to move, her backside moved along with it. As Roman sat down and shook her aching paws, the red faced girl shook her head. "I am so sorry Miss Roman, I should have known to come to you. I just wanted to talk to you after my travels, and to talk about my rank," her voice was soft, blue eyes sweet as she gazed at the mother-to-be. When Roman said that she had heard a lot about her, a flush ran up to her cheeks and she shuffled her paws slightly, turning rather bashful at the compliment. "Not as much as I have heard about you, Miss."

Sitting back on her haunches as well, she watched the woman lift up and shake her paws again. "I can give you something to help, if you would like," she offered, head tilting to the left. Oh right! That is why she called Roman here. Not wanting to waste any time, she jumped right into it. "I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but I was a healer under Athena's crown. I would like to remain one for your reign as well, although I would like to ask you something if that's okay?" Amalia smiled sweetly, clearing her throat before she went on. "I would love to be able to study herbs and how they effect pups when they are within their mothers womb, to be able to recognize and cure anything before the pups are even born. If I would be able to, I would like to learn just what really helps a mother through both the growth of her children, the birth, and afterwards as well. I know its a rather special type of, erm, thing... But if you would allow it, could I?" her voice was almost awkward, she didn't like to assume things. Amalia didn't want to be a big fuss, so she was okay with being the same rank and to just receive Roman's blessing to study something more specific. She didn't need her own rank!
