Returning Home {Roman}
As Roman approached, she was hit with a barrage of words. Blinking she forced out a smile, though she was slightly bewildered. "It's fine. The line of duty and all." She said softly. Amalia apologized again, and Roman laughed slightly. "It's fine, Amalia. I've survived worse than being the size of a whale. You should feel free to call me anytime. " Her smile was warm and less startled this time. She watched a blush creep up the girls face, and Roman stifled her smile- At least she'd made her feel good, at her words a soft chuckle left Roman. "Surely you've only heard the bad things... or that that I'm pretty. Well was pretty. I do not make a pretty whale." She said teasingly, her tone light and full of myrrh. Roman's eyes widened slightly, as the young healer offered to give her something for her paws. "There is a remedy for sore feet? Please. Oh Gods- please." She blurted out, then shook her head sheepishly. "I do not mean to seem whiny but my Gods my feet ache."
Amaila began talking again, and Roman did her best to listen. She nodded as Amalia asked if she something was okay- if she could go on. Roman's interest perked up as she listened. She couldn't think of any other pack who had a healer whose specialty was pups- and with Roman herself expecting having someone who could help in the processes of being pregnant and then having and caring for children, could make all the difference. As the girl drew to a close, Roman remained silent for a moment, thinking, and finally she nodded slightly. "I think that this could be a grand idea, Amalia. With so many pups in the pack- we need someone who understands what's going on." She said with a slight smile. "I'm interested in seeing where these studies take you!"
