EAT SNOW

He had in fact not noticed the strangeness of the ice which supported them. With a huff he looked down and scuffed a paw through the snowy blanket which obscured most of what lay beneath. True to her word, the ice was indeed glowing. Somehow that was deeply disconcerting for the brute. Unnatural. They'd probably contract some sort of vile disease from it or... something. He tried to scuff the snow back into place and pretend he'd never noticed it in the first place. "So it would seem," he rumbled. He wanted to assure himself that she was in fact okay.
She was up and moving sure, but without forcing her to say it herself, well, how could he be sure? Of course digging so deep would give away the ember of affection, and he couldn't have that. So instead he jounced about, forcing his considerable weight down upon the ice. It seemed stable enough, though he could have guessed as much. It was cold up here. If he'd had his way they'd be on the southernmost shore available, but no, the twit had wanted snow. Go figure. "Why do you insist on running off? Do you like making me hunt you down?" he queried in an annoyed tone, even if his heart was not truly in it.
