She'd heave a sigh of relief as she was emptied of the pup's bodies, her head would lay back against the floor as she let Othello finish seeing them to her belly. A feeling of contentment would overtake her, she had done it, she had gotten through the birth. She would faintly hear Othello congratulate Soliloquy before her attentions would be brought back to the rather tired mother. She too would be soothed by Othello's gentle humming, and she'd feel the need to sleep start to overwhelm her. Her eyes would flutter open as Othello found her way back, her words assuring as she would be the first to call her by her new title.
The revelation would stir her, lifting her head she would take in the sight before her, amazed at the tiny bundles that only a few moments ago had been nestled safely within her. What did Soliloquy think? Had their appearance brought any more parental instincts to the man? What about herself? She'd watch the squirming little balls of fluff, taking in their tiny innocence. She might not have wanted them, but they were just so cute. She couldn't hate them. "Should we name them?" She would ask weakly as she looked to Soliloquy's gaze.
