No one else would appear to save him it seemed and so he was stuck being as helpful as he could. There wasn't a lot to be said and with nothing to delay things starting, Novella would encourage them to begin. So she wasn't going to find the herd for them? He'd sort of hoped that'd be the case, that they could simply follow and do as they were told. He didn't want to be at the forepoint of anything and now those little cousins were looking at him. Alright so they weren't really little Aslan was already taller than him and Varda not far off, actually, for that reason what did they really need his help for? Fortunately Aslan would begin to search rather than try leave it all to him and Sorrel would follow behind them sniffing here and there though a little half-hearted in his actions to be entirely honest. |
