OOC NOTES:
These trials are to determine which wolves are fit for the other beta position as a Lord or Lady of Regium. They will also hopefully bring some candidates forward to be either the Commander or General or lead hunters and warriors of Regium.
Should your wolf be interested in trying out for these ranks- expect to have to spar. Deadline for this is... Jan 17th.
Drashiel, Athena, Amalia, and Talvi are welcomed to attend but are not required.
At the peak of dawn, she crept from her den. After disentangling herself from her children, of course. Their den had seemed to grow smaller with the arrival of the five pups. Five. What an unholy number. The youngest- was clinging to life, doing better in spite of her pitiful arrival into the world. At least she wasn't dead yet. Shaking herself to clear those thoughts from her mind, she forced herself to focus on the task at hand. In her last meeting, she'd said she was going to hold trials for the remaining high ranks- and she could think of no better time to do so. With a wicked grin, she set off- wishing to put some distance between her and her sleeping children, yet also wishing not to go to far in case she needed to get to them quickly. Her den was nearly strategically placed near the pines, but in the depths of the Red Wood forest. She halted at the clearing of land where the two forests bordered, with a slight smirk. This would be a perfect place to hold spars- should enough contestants appear.
She tossed her head into the air and let out a loud summons- hoping to have timed it to wake up her wolves. If they wanted responsibility- they would have to get used to a disrupted sleeping pattern. As her call rang through the forest, she would grow quiet, studying the icy lands around her. This time just before sunrise was so.. quiet. |
