Drashy will watch the babies, while Roman is away. :)

For the moment Drashiel was sleeping in another den, near to his wife and children but all the same it felt oddly far away. They had plans to rennovate the den and make it a bit larger to accommodate the massive litter that had far exceeded their expectations. Drashiel was ready for two maybe three pups but five? Well, when they were old enough to start venturing out he'd take the time to clean out and resize the den but for now he rested alone. Drashiel heard Roman's call and jolted awake and quickly extricated himself from the den. Shaking out his coat he readjusted his armlet before…. well before hesitating. No… he really didn't want to leave the pups unguarded and with the typical caretakers ill…. no, no. He'd look after them for a bit. Drashiel returned Roman's howl letting her know he'd stay and watch the kids so she could tend to her Queenly duties and maybe take a break from the duties of a mother. It would be good for her to get out and stretch her legs. Spring was beginning to arrive but here in the far north it remained bitterly cold. Drashiel carefully slipped in the den and wrapped himself around his children, pulling them close to keep their little bodies warm til his Queen returned. |
