The male was quick to seek her out, cranium snapping upward to focus a thoroughly saturated emerald gaze upon the area in which she lurked. Well done, for a wolf she knew nothing of. Not many were that acute, but he seemed capable. He pushed through the foliage, plodding along until he came face to face with her. A neutral expression remained upon her features, though she might have come off as cold. Not that she cared. He greeted her in the common tongue of these lands, a kind, warm vocalization. She blinked at him, obsidian audit flickering. Shit. Was she going to actually have to try and use words? An internal groan arose at that possibility. She didn't like talking, it was her least favourite thing to do. A low grunt was all she offered in greeting. It was better than she usually did.

It wasn't long before he spit out a long, convoluted title. Well, good for him. She really didn't give a damn what kind of fancy names and royalty he was related to, or whatever that long string of crap was. Her brows drew closer to her eyes, illustrating some of this feeling. Honestly, why did everyone insist on being so wodry and friendly? It didn't make a difference to her, not in the least. The ghost watched him some more, eyeing him warily. Her gaze was hard and icy, nothing unusual. The silence might have been tense and awkward for most, but that kind of stuff didn't really occur to her. The ghost blinked at him, expression falling back into its former, neutral impassiveness. He didn't look to be a bad sort. Nice, even. "Dyani." She finally muttered in reply. Her voice was always hoarse sounding, gravelly with disuse. One could easily mistake it for male, as with the rest of her physique. She continued to stare him down, paying no heed to what might be common decency.
