She had been away from home for so long. All winter, in fact. She missed her siblings...Motif, Bass, Rhythm, Chord. She missed all of Abaven. What were they all up to, and what has changed since she's been gone? When she left, Motif was pregnant, along with a few others. But she couldn't exactly remember who they were. Maybe Wren...or was it Venus? Ah, she couldn't remember. Her memory was still pretty rusty. But, either way, she was excited to see them all again. To see Motif's pups, if she had given birth to them, which she was pretty sure she has. And...to just be home again.
"I'm home..." She whispered to herself with excitement in her tone, her eyes bright with joy. Everything seemed like a dream, after being away so long. The familiar trees, the rapids that she had to cross to get here...it was all so hazy to her. She wondered how it'd be when she saw her siblings. A silly grin blossomed across her face, her paws moving her forward, deeper into the territory in which was currently still littered with small amounts of snow. It was spring, of course, but the sun still had some snow to get too. It was to be expected. After all, Abaven looked strangely comforting with the little bits of snow scattered here and there.
Finally, she seated herself in a little patch of grass, throwing her head up and howling smoothly. She wanted to see her siblings first, before anyone. She just wondered how they'd react to her return...
