You and I, we were born to die

The blood stained earth put her on edge as the tiger striped challenger crossed the barren dunes. Her eyes narrowed as she moved gracefully across the pain, trying to get from point A to point B with little time. She kept herself alert, ears perked up and eyes peeled in case a challenge arose for her to take up. She was rusty in her fighting maneuvers which was why she decided to take the stroll through the dry and cracked earth. It did not take her long to find the challenge that she had been searching for. A woman stood there, age affecting her in more ways than one, with her defenses already set. Raas grinned, not planning on passing up the spar. It was quite obvious by how the woman was postured that these fields were common lands to her. Perhaps she visited often. She was one to watch out for.

Raaska would waste no time to allow the woman to accept her presence. The fact was a spar was a spar and she was going to throw herself, quite literally, into this one. Rushing in an attempt to close the distance between the two wolves, Raas snapped her jaws. She rushed straight forward, which when she had launched the attack had placed her dead centered with the femme she was to fight. Controlled breathing helped her focus on the task at hand. With the snapping of her jaws, the woman would try use the one inch she had on the other to dame to tilt her head slightly to the left in order to bite down on the woman's shoulder to inflict pain and perhaps draw a bit of blood while also trying to slam her paw down directly on top of the woman's right paw, hoping to bruise it. Her eyes shone the ferocity that she had in mind for the fight while her laid back moves suggested nothing more than a spar. This was training pure and simple so she could continue on with the vigilante wanderer style.

While these two attempts of an attack were in place, Raas also aimed to slam her center chest into Jup's head and neck, hoping that the recoil would cause the other woman to falter and move back a bit. The fur along her spine bristled from the pure adrenaline that coursed through her system. She felt alive, more alive than she had felt in a while. When she had made her attempted attacks, she tried to pull back to set her defenses. She lowered her head to level with her neck while scrunching it up and baring her fangs to defend the vital point of her body. Her tail leveled with her spine to allow her to control her movements with more accuracy and hopefully more speed. Her fur bristled as her toes splayed out along with her legs from the base to lower her center of gravity which she hoped would make it more difficult for her to be knocked over. Her toes dug into the coarse earth as she bent her legs at their halfway points, distorting the stripes running horizontal across her legs. She was pumped and she was ready to go... almost. She lowered her ears to pin them against her head to allow for less areas of her body to be attacked. She tensed, ready to move at a seconds notice. The fight had truly begun.
