For so many nights now sleep had welcomed her dreamlessly. She’d fall completely unconscious and slip away to nothing to escape the real world. Gradually over the months it was getting easier to accept her parents death, accept the fact that like Frith had stated, life would go on. She would always miss them though, that much she was sure of.
Tonight however it seemed there was to be a shift in her routine. As usual she’d curl up beside her mate, eyes would close and sleep would eventually beckon her. There was light though this time, and scenery that awaited her not the recent black. She was dreaming, of course such a thought wouldn’t occur to her immediately though instead she would simply go along, walking and admiring the beautiful landscape laid out before her.
It was peaceful, perhaps more so than the usual black, nothingness but equally there was a sadness that would grip her as she realised something. This place, it reminded her of Ahlon.
