Odette had known from the beginning that Sibelle's presence would only be temporary. She had an idea that her children would also grow to despise the harsh climate. A sigh slipped from the woman's lips as she walked around the borders of her new home. As the winter season melted into spring, the atmosphere surrounding her lands remained the same. Snow, cold temperatures, and the test to survive the harshness would stay. They were her favorite parts of the North and that is why she would stay. Sibelle's call clearly rang through the setting, revealing her chosen spot to sit before Odette even reached her. Tan paws carried Odette towards the russet-furred woman, red and blue eyes glittering with a knowing glance. She approached the former Queen of Solstice and gave her a friendly nuzzle in greeting. "I have a feeling I know what you are going to say," Odette admitted, greeting her friend with warm tones. The woman wasn't afraid to have her former ruler leave; she just didn't want to let her go without knowing she would be all right. Speech |
