It had been quite some time since she had been on any type of diplomatic mission and even this did not feel like that sort of trip. It really just neighborly to say hello to the packs that shared the north with them. Besides that, she had noticed that the borders of this new Glaciem were heavy with the scent of the tan, gray, and black girl she had met in the Mile-High Woods not long ago. She was eager to see if her suspicions about that woman being the new alpha there so she set out to do just that. Athena decided to bring Amalia with her, both because she just wanted to spend some more time with her wife and just show her off a bit. Sometimes she was afraid that Amalia didn't get out enough or have any real friends in Regium besides herself and their sons so she hoped maybe bringing her out on these little social missions would be good for her.

She padded through the snow with Amalia at her side, occasionally leaning her head down to give Amalia's cheek a little nuzzle as they walked. Finally she was feeling back to normal since the loss of Vereux and she could easily give all the credit for that to Amalia for being so caring and patient with her. They arrived at the Glaciem border and she lifted her head to let out a howl to call for the leader. They wouldn't have to wait long at all before Odette appeared from the tree line and greeted them with a grin. Well, it seemed her assumption would be correct then! Her tail wagged happy has her split-tone gaze met that of Odette's. "I thought I smelled your scent around here! I'm glad I guessed correctly, it's good to see you again." She smiled and nodded from Odette to Amalia and back again as she introduced them. "Odette, this is my wife, Amalia. Amalia, this is miss Odette Adravendi." She chuckled softly to herself and looked back to Odette, asking, "Am I assuming correctly that you're the alpha around here now?"
