Just A Dream

Mystic had wandered. Twice now. With his children growing the chance of danger loomed, and Kar swore to himself, he swore he wouldn't lose a child. Following his daughter's scent, he started into forbidden territory. The scents of others lingered here, making the male sick with worry. With the chance of new little ones on the way Kar was becoming anxious again. The man had lived as a rogue for so long now that it was just normal to be wary of pack wolves.

...and what he came upon was chaos. Fighting. Strangers. His daughter. Kar's heart was pounding in his chest, fur raising along his hackles as he snarled. He would rush towards Mystic and, had it not been an even younger child standing next to her, the man would have snapped at him. Body would come to a stop, muscles rigid. Kar's gaze was fixed on his daughter,  questions posed just for her. "Mystic what is going on here? What are you doing here?"
