She found the woman near the border, her own name rolling off the womans lips in greeting. She had begun to take notice that Meinx rarely ever showed any emotion, so it was not unusual to see no smile grace her lips. They would meet half way, allowing the darker girl to stop in her tracks, a small smile lifting the corner of her lips. Meinx would comment that she had grown, though she paid little attention to her ow body, her verdant gaze would land on the betas nose, or lack thereof. It seems Im not the only one changing. She would say dryly. She couldn't blame the beta for not seeing her more often, they both had their own lives, and besides the heiress had done little socializing at all, so they both could be blamed. Haunches would recline comfortably. Mother keeps us busy. She would smirk. It was all too true, if her mother wasnt planning someones downfall, she was forcing the pack to train. Dark ears tipped forward, training on the beta. They had only chatted a few times, perhaps with time small talk would become easier, but until then, she found herself short on words.
