She would not have to wait long. Odette would arrive, a knowing smile on her face. She had made it clear from the very beginning that her presence here was not going to be permeant. She would return the smile, though hers was tinged with a sadness. She would be sad to leave the woman behind, but she needed to go what was best for her kids. Then you know its time. She would pause briefly. If you ever need me, Ill be in the south, just call. She would smile, her words earnest. She would not leave the woman high and dry. Her tail would wag slowly. I havent gotten to talk to my brother, Taurig, but if he stays, put the old man to use. She would laugh softly, her tones teasing as she spoke of her brother. She would miss him if he stayed, but she couldn't drag her brother all over the place, he had to live his own life too.
